The President and founder of CNL telenetwork Maksim Maksimov conducted several fruitful meetings in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). After that his summer tour continued, and on August a he flew to the capital of Russia - Moscow, where he also held a number of important meetings, as reported by the CNL-NEWS news agency.
The first of which was with commanding bishop of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, Pavel Nikolayevich Okara. Maksim Maksimov and Pavel Okara discussed the development of Pentecostal movement In The Russian Federation, as well as the prospects of the television channel in Russia.
"I thank God for the wonderful opportunity we have today, - Pavel Okara says, - Christian television channel on post-soviet territories - this is undoubtedly a great blessing. I have had a satellite aerial at home for years, and, when I am home off business trips, I always watch CNL television channel".
The next meeting of Maksim Maksimov was held with the director of New Christian Art Fund Alexander Babich. In the course of the conversation the parties reached the consensus: there is a lack of music product in Christian media, so a new generation of Christian authors and performers should be stimulated. Alexander Babich invited the President of the TV-channel to cooperate in creating Evangelical Music Association. Maksim supported this suggestion with pleasure, and in his turn opened the opportunities of CNLfor the ЕМА.
Maksim Maksimov held some more meetings in Moscow, and then left to Volgograd, where a parsonic meeting and communication with TV-audience were held.
In a local church Maksim Maksimov shared the Word of God. In his usual simple and humorous manner he informed important truths to the audience, and nobody remained indifferent.
Speaking with local adherents, Maksim told about the work of the TV-channel and about cooperation possibilities.
After coming from Volgograd again to Moscow, Maksim Maksimov visited the Good News Church of Rick Renner. Everybody present in the church had been waiting for his visit and cordially met the CNL President as he appeared on the stage to greet them.
In his sermon Maksim appealed not to be afraid of difficulties, but on the contrary to ask them from God in order to become stronger. The hall approved each word of the speaker, which evidenced of the work of the Holy Spirit.
On the first floor of the same building the stand of the CNL TV-channel was placed. After the service all that didn’t remain indifferent gathered around the stand. And there were quite a lot. The viewers testified to the importance of CNL in their lives:
- Thank God, we have CNL at home, and it is a great blessing for me, as I have so much, because I often watch the sermons having no opportunity to go to the church.
- CNL gives such word to a person that does not let a person fade, get depressed and it helps to be always equal to the occasion.
- Now I can’t imagine life without this TV-channel, because God grants a great blessing through this channel.
- I want the Gospel to reach all people; I want people to hear about God through CNL channel and to come to His love, to come to salvation.
After communication in the church Maksim made his own conclusions: “We have had a wonderful service. The Good News Church is very open and blessed. I am in very warm and good relations with Pastor Rick Renner. We got incredible blessing from communication, from service and from unction here”.
