October 23, 2009, the third and the closing day of the 7th Eastern Europe exhibition and conference ЕЕВС 2009 Telecom&Broadcasting, was distinguished by the following events:

The second day, October 22, 2009, of the 7th Eastern Europe exhibition and conference ЕЕВС 2009 Telecom&Broadcasting, was dedicated to the issues of satellite and cable TV broadcasting.

On October 21 the opening of the 7th Eastern Europe exhibition and conference ЕЕВС 2009 Telecom&Broadcasting was held in Kyiv. During the event a series of conferences and seminars were held dedicated to the most topical issues of telecommunications, the Internet, TV broadcasting, and content production. On the first day the International Conference "Telecommunications and Broadband Networks" took place featuring speeches of the representatives of leading vendors, operators, and research institutes from Europe and the CIS countries.

On October 21 the Opening Ceremony of the 7th Eastern Europe exhibition and conference ЕЕВС 2009 Telecom&Broadcasting was held.

Infocommunication industry is a fast growing sector in Ukraine. There are over 1,300 operators of telecommunication services. The most prospective markets are Internet and IP services with a penetration level of only 14-16% . By the end of the year broadband users will reach 2.5 million people (forecast).

On May 14, during the Days of Cable TV, the International Conference “Digital broadcast technologies in multiservice networks” will be held.

On April 1, in Kyiv terrestrial digital broadcasting in MPEG-4 format started its work. This became known on March 31 at the International Conference “Digital broadcasting technologies of TV content: on the way to 2012. Ukraine and Poland: results, plans, and reality” devoted to the issues of digital broadcasting technology.

On March 31, 2009, within the context of the program “Ukraine on Air”, the International conference “Digital broadcasting technologies of TV content: on the way to 2012. Ukraine and Poland: results, plans and reality” will be held in Kyiv.

The second stage of the program “Ukraine on Air” and the conference plan for 2009 has been announced. The program is aiming at the development of digital broadcasting in Ukraine, including the issues of preparation of Ukrainian media industry for informational coverage of the final of the UEFA Euro-2012 in Ukraine and Poland

For the sixth time Kyiv was the venue of the exhibition and conference on telecommunications and broadcasting EEBC Telecom & Broadcasting, which every year reinforces its status as an effective international platform for cooperation and communication of telecommunications industry professionals.

During the 6th Eastern European exhibition and conference EEBC 2008 Telecom&Broadcasting the Second international forum "Mobile broadcasting. World experience and prospects of realization in the countries of Eastern Europe" will be held.

For the three days of EEBC 2008 Telecom & Broadcasting exhibition within the integrated program of preparation for covering EURO 2012 and I Make TV project a fully functioning television set will operate for live broadcasting of sports and cultural events.
