EEBC :.: Innovations at EEBC 2009

Luminato platform in a compact form factor (1 RU) is characterized by low power consumption. The chassis is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet transport interfaces with the possibility to install SFP-modules. The station supports MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standard (SD) and high definition (HD) video standards, which makes it an ideal solution for networks of cable television and medium-scale IPTV.

Up to six modules can be installed in one chassis. All modules are hot-swappable, which enables servicing without causing loss of quality of services provided. Modular architecture makes it possible to receive signals from different sources (ASI, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T) and to direct a digital stream to IP, ASI, and QAM output interfaces.
