By the end of 2010 the number of satellite television subscribers in Ukraine will increase by 7 % to about 3.1 million people, as Mytv analysts report.
According to the MYtv director, Albert Feldman, the subscriber base will grow owing to the improved economic performance.
"The Ukrainians’ wish to receive high quality television product with innovative technical support, underpinned by improved economic performance in the country, will become a prerequisite to acquiring satellite equipment," Feldman said.
According to the company, today the number of satellite TV subscribers is increasing mainly due to the refusal of subscribers from analog television and their switching to digital television.
