EEBC :.: News | In six months Ukrainian communication operators earned 22.89 bn UAH.

In January-June 2010, the revenues from providing telecommunication services in Ukraine increased by 3.4 %, as compared to January-June 2009, to 22.89 bn UAH (1 USD = approx. 7.90 UAH), according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

The overall increase in the revenues from telecommunication services was caused by an increase in the revenues from Internet access services (28.2 %), the provision of cable television services (8.34 %) and mobile communication (3.7 %). In January-May 2010, the total revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine made 18.81 bn UAH.
