The Norwegian holding Telenor and the Russian group of companies Alpha have decided that the basis for the integration of their assets in Ukraine will be the mobile operator Kyivstar, which will absorb URS (TM Beeline).
According to the publication, the decision on the absorption will be formalized on June 10, 2010 .
It has become known that the manager of the integration process will be the head of Kyivstar, Igor Litovchenko. Initially he is supposed to head the integration council in charge of the prospects of merging Ukrainian companies, and later to guide the combined company VimpelCom Ltd.
This assumption is also supported by the fact that the General Director of ZAO Ukrainian Radio Systems, Andrey Milinevsky, will become an ordinary member of the integration council and, accordingly, he would have to coordinate fundamental decisions of URS management with Igor Litovchenko.
