In January-April 2010, the revenues from providing telecommunication services in Ukraine increased by 3.5 %, as compared to January-April 2009, to 15.02 bn UAH (1 USD = approx. 7.9 UAH), according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
The overall increase in the revenues from telecommunication services was caused by an increase in the revenues from Internet access services (29.5 %) and the provision of cable television services (10 %).
In January-March 2010, the enterprises’ revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine increased by 2.7 %, compared to January-March 2009, to 11.1 bn UAH.
