Net loss of the telecommunication company Ukrtelecom in January-March 2010 amounted to 36.11 mn UAH, which is five times less than the loss in the same period in 2009, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to the operator’s quarterly statements, published in the disclosure system of the Securities and Stock Market State Commission on Friday, its net profit in 1Q decreased by 0.2% — to 1 billion 675.4 million UAH, while its operating profit amounted to 42.323 mn UAH, against operating loss in January-March 2009 in the amount of 49.433 mn UAH.
