In January-December 2009, the operators’ revenues from providing services of Internet access increased, as compared with January-December 2008, by 38.3 % to 2.8 bn UAH (1 USD = approx. 8 UAH), according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, the revenues from providing services to the population made 1.5 bn UAH, which is by 68.3 % more than in 2008.The proportion of revenues from Internet in the total revenues from telecommunications made 7 %.In 2009, the enterprises’ revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine decreased by 3 % compared to the same period in 2008, to 46.2845 bn UAH.
