In 2009, the operators’ revenues from providing services of cable television access increased, as compared with 2008, by 28.2% to 1.28 bn UAH (1 USD = approx. 8 UAH), according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, the revenues from providing services to the population made 1.22 bn UAH, which is by 26.4% more than in 2008.The proportion of revenues from cable TV in the total revenues from telecommunication made 2.9%.In 2009, the enterprises’ revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine decreased by 3 % compared to the same period in 2008, to 46.2845 bn UAH.
