The number of cellular communication users in Ukraine in November 2009 made 54.962 mn (compared to 55.229 mn in October), according to the report of IKS-Consulting.
Three of the four major mobile operators have reduced their subscriber bases. The number of Kyivstar users made 21.954 mn against 22.168 mn in October; MTS users — 17.604 mn people against 17.735 mn people, VimpelCom users — 2.017 mn people against 2.107 mn people. The subscriber base of Astelit increased to 11.986 mn people against 11.863 mn people.
The share of Kyivstar in November was 39.9% of the cellular market in Ukraine , the share of MTS — 32%, Astelit — 21.8%, VimpelCom - 3,7%, other operators — 2.6%.
