In January-November 2009, the operators’ revenues from providing services of Internet access increased, as compared with January-November 2008, by 39.4 % to 2.58 bn UAH, according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, the revenues from providing services to the population made 1.4 bn UAH, which is by 70.8% more than in January-November 2008 (1 USD = approx. 7.97 UAH). The proportion of revenues from Internet in the total revenues from telecommunications made 6%. Let us remember that in January-November 2009, the total revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine made 42.074 bn UAH.
