In January-November 2009, the operators’ revenues from providing services of cable television access increased, as compared with January-November 2008, by 28.6% to 1.164 bn UAH, according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, the revenues from providing services to the population made 1.112 bn UAH, which is by 26.6% more than in January-October 2008 (1 USD = approx. 7.97 UAH). The proportion of revenues from cable TV in the total revenues from telecommunications made 2.9%.Let us remember that in January-November 2009, the enterprises’ revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine decreased by 3.4%, as compared to the same period in 2008, to 42.074 bn UAH.
