In January-November 2009, the operators’ revenues from providing mobile communication services in Ukraine decreased by 4%, as compared to the same period in 2008, to 25.8 bn UAH, according to the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, the revenues from providing mobile communication services to the population in January-November 2009 decreased by 17.8 %, as compared to the same period in 2008, and made 8.7 bn UAH (1 USD = approx. 7.97 UAH). Thus, the proportion of revenues from providing mobile communication services in the total revenues from telecommunications made 60.8%. Let us remember that in January-November 2009, the enterprises’ revenues from the provision of telecommunication services in Ukraine decreased by 3.4%, as compared to the same period in 2008, to 42.074 bn UAH.
