The NCRC has issued Beeline the license for additional communication channels

The National Communication Regulation Committee of Ukraine has issued the mobile operator company Ukrainian Radiosystems (Beeline TM) a new license No. 5688 for the use of radio frequency resources of Ukraine (radiotechnology type – portable digital mobile radio communication of GSM-900 standard) in 26 administrative regions.

This license will allow the operator to use for over 10 years, in addition to the existing frequency resources, a 121-frequency channel of GSM-900 standard. According to the operator, this will increase the amount of radio frequency resources of the company (in the range of 900 MHz) by 23 %.

Ukrainian Radiosystems ZAO, the national mobile operator of GSM-900/1800 standard, is a 100 % owned subsidiary of VympelCom OAO, and has been providing its services since April 2006 under the trademark of Beeline.
